Angelus is a boutique catering company based in Los Angeles that specializes in creating unforgettable culinary experiences for weddings, dinner parties and pop-up events. Chefs Caroline Leff and Ariana Eskenazi, both raised in Los Angeles, discovered their passion for cooking early on in life, influenced by their Italian heritage and family traditions. Their culinary journey progressed from home cooking to working with some of the finest chefs in the city, including Michael Cimarusti and Evan Funke.

 

The two met in the kitchen of Felix Trattoria, where they developed their skills—Ariana focusing on wood-fired cooking and pizza, while Caroline mastered the art of pasta. Their experiences culminated in leading stations and opening the restaurant at Mother Wolf, as well as executing a variety of special events, from the Vanity Fair Academy Awards after-parties, to the Baby2Baby Gala, to private celebrations and weddings.

 

After gaining further expertise, including Caroline’s training in French techniques at Horses and her current role as kitchen lead at Stir Crazy, the duo launched their own venture, Angelus. This dynamic business focuses on pizza pop-ups, private dinners, and events of all sizes, bringing their unique culinary vision to life.
